The Gavel And The Gabble And A Busy Month All Round

So this month finally saw Harry and Simon finally get round to the launch of their podcast. It isn’t just about the Auction Houses that we run, although that is where our own anecdotes come from but we hope that it will make auctions more accessible to all. They are not stuffy places where only antique dealers dwell but fun and exciting places to buy and sell all sorts of things. June Sees A Charity Auction at Royal Ascot Golf Club for Cancer Research UK One of our clients asked if we would lend them an auctioneer to conduct a charity auction to raise a few pounds for this hugely important charity. In current conditions, we take our hats off to the companies who dig deep to donate ten quality lots for the auction that raised over £3000 on the day. Huge thanks to those who bid, create the banter and join in, it can be a lonely 20 minutes on the rostrum if the crowd doesn’t get involved. July 27th RNLI Life Boat Week Charity Auction  We are really looking forward to taking over the lifeboat station down at Lyme Regis on the afternoon of the 27th to raise money for the RNLI.
